Your data

DeepAlbum privacy

Last updated September 7, 2026.

DeepAlbum stores your account email, encrypted ciphertext, encrypted thumbnails, file names, sizes, hashes, retention dates, billing and subscription references, and limited operational and security logs needed to run the service. During the limited preview, we also keep a short-lived, keyed network hash and hourly counter to limit automated sign-up abuse. We do not keep a raw IP address for that counter.

DeepAlbum cannot access your Recovery Kit or view your unencrypted files. Your device encrypts originals before upload. We fund the service by selling subscriptions, not by selling customer data or using private media to build advertising profiles. We do not use your data for targeted advertising. Cloudflare provides the application and infrastructure. Backblaze B2 privately stores current encrypted transfer data. Stripe processes payments and subscription billing. We do not send unencrypted files or Recovery Kit material to Stripe.

Evaluation uploads are scheduled for automatic permanent deletion on or after 90 days following the 7-day trial end if you do not continue. Membership uploads are scheduled for automatic permanent deletion on or after 90 days following the paid-access end date. The dashboard shows the exact deletion date, and we send reminders before permanent deletion. You may delete individual uploads or your account sooner.

Account and data deletion

While signed in, open your dashboard and choose Delete this account. You must read the warning and confirm an acknowledgement checkbox before the automated workflow starts. It blocks new DeepAlbum activity immediately, sends a receipt to your account email, and aims to complete deletion sooner and no later than 28 days. We send a completion notice when it is finished.

Account deletion permanently removes the DeepAlbum account, encrypted uploads, and associated service records. We may keep the smallest practical deletion and security record while notices are delivered, to prevent duplicate requests, comply with law, resolve fraud or payment disputes, or enforce our terms. Stripe may retain payment records under its own policies and legal duties. Our Terms explain the acceptable-use rules and when we may suspend or end service for suspected abuse.

DeepAlbum is operated in the United States by Quiet Oak Labs LLC. Questions about this limited preview or a deletion request can be sent to join@deepalbum.app.
