Your memories are yours.
We intend to keep them that way.

DeepAlbum is a private second copy for the photos and videos you cannot replace. Your device encrypts every original before upload. We sell a storage service. We do not sell customer data or use your memories to build an advertising profile.

Why DeepAlbum

A better place for the memories that matter most.

Most services make money by learning as much as possible about their customers. We are taking a different path. DeepAlbum is a small, U.S.-based company built to give people a private second copy of the photos and videos they care about.

We sell the product. We do not turn our customers into the product. That means no selling personal data, no advertising profiles built from your memories, and no readable originals in our storage systems.

  • Privacy first, by design. Your device encrypts originals before upload, and only you keep the Recovery Kit.
  • Transparency over mystery. We explain our plans, retention dates, deletion process, and current product limits in plain language.
  • Built for the long haul. Preserve full-resolution originals as a dependable second copy, not as a replacement for every other backup.

  • Plans are monthly subscriptions. Stripe handles payment and subscription management securely.
  • Each plan has a fixed archive allowance. Max includes 1 TB. It does not promise unlimited storage.
  • The web preview currently supports files up to 128 MB. iOS and Android apps are in development and coming soon for larger libraries and media.
  • If you decide not to continue, you can still retrieve your uploads for 90 days. New uploads pause during that period.
  • We show your exact deletion date and send reminders before permanently deleting encrypted uploads and associated service records.
  • DeepAlbum is a private second copy, not your only copy. Keep another copy of important memories and store your Recovery Kit safely.

Browser uploads are limited to 128 MB per original.

Compatible encrypted thumbnails can appear only after local decryption. New resumable uploads do not include gallery thumbnails yet.

Questions, answered

A few important details.

Can DeepAlbum see my photos or videos?

No. Each file is encrypted on your device before upload. DeepAlbum cannot access your Recovery Kit or view your unencrypted originals.

Can I see gallery thumbnails?

Not for new resumable uploads yet. The limited preview prioritizes encrypted original upload and verified recovery. We are building a gallery where encrypted thumbnails decrypt only after your vault is unlocked on your device. DeepAlbum will not keep readable thumbnail files.

Where does my encrypted archive live?

DeepAlbum uses Cloudflare for the application and operational metadata. Encrypted media is stored privately in Backblaze B2. The storage service receives unreadable ciphertext, not your original media.

Is DeepAlbum my only backup?

No. DeepAlbum is a private second copy. Please keep another independent copy of anything important.

What happens when my evaluation or plan ends?

Your archive becomes retrieval-only for 90 days. We show the deletion date and send reminders before permanently deleting the encrypted archive.

How do I delete my account and data?

Sign in, open your dashboard, select Delete this account, read the warning, and confirm the acknowledgement checkbox. We block new activity immediately, email a receipt, and aim to complete the request within 28 days.

How do I restore on another device?

Today, you use the Recovery Kit that you saved when you created the archive. Password-based vault unlock is planned, but it is not part of this limited preview yet.

How large can web-preview files be?

The current browser preview supports files up to 128 MB. We are building native apps for larger libraries and media.

If you do not continue, uploads stay available to retrieve for 90 days after the trial ends. We show the exact deletion date and send reminders before permanently deleting them because unused storage still has a cost.

Only you have the encryption key, so save your Recovery Kit somewhere safe.

Confirm your email before a request can be reviewed. This helps us keep the preview useful for real people.
